With our offices on the Main Street in Tallow, County Waterford, Michael A O'Brien & Son's Auctioneers are ideally placed to serve the entire west Waterford and east Cork areas.

The seaside resorts of Youghal in County Cork and Ardmore in County Wateford are just 20km away. The towns of Fermoy, Midleton and Clonmel are all within easy reach and the cities of Cork (60km) and Waterford ( 80km) are easily accessible. The bustling market town of Dungarvan is just a 30km drive. The area is an ideal location for commuting to the larger commercial centers.

Tallow is a modern Irish town with all the facilities you would expect in a town of 1000 people.
The town has excellent schools, fine shopping facilities, and a tremendous community spirit.
Set deep in a valley on the Blackwater Valley Scenic Drive, Tallow is the birthplace of two John Hogans, one a poet (1780-1858) and the other a famous sculptor (1800-1858).
Above nearby Tallowbridge is Tallow Hill, a superb vantage point presenting panoramic views of the Bride Valley on one side and the Blackwater Valley on the other.
